"A stunning property in which to celebrate my Father in Laws 80th birthday for the weekend. Plenty of space for everyone, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped (some plastic plates for the young ones would have been handy). The garden and outside space is lovely, perhaps we will return in the Summer to make better use of it next time! We had a caterer come in and cook for us one evening which was fantastic. The Hall was trimmed up for Christmas which was a bonus. We loved the space, everyone got a lovely bedroom.
We lit the fire in the Dinning room and had a wonderful meal, played games in the Lounge.
The weather was awful and got soaked visiting Buxton and Haddon Hall but there is plenty to do in the area.

"The house is in a really convenient setting with a great little shop 20 yards away. The welcome hamper has all the basics needed to start the week. It has a full set of the necessary kitchen utensils and some to spare. The bedrooms are comfortable and the showers work well. The setting is excellent for all the main towns and visitor spots and for some great walks out of the front door.
