Special Conditions due to Covid-19.
As part of our ongoing commitment to keep guests and staff as safe as possible during the pandemic we have instigated a rigorous review of our procedures and cleaning regime at Winster Hall using guidance from the UK Government and the owner relations team at Sykes Cottages.

If you wish to see the measures we are taking then please ask to see a copy of the Coronavirus Cleaning Standards and Checklist that we have prepared jointly with our housekeepers.

We believe that you will be able to visit Winster Hall in the knowledge that the property has been thoroughly cleaned and safe for you to enjoy. However, we also need your help to ensure the health and safety of our housekeeping team and future guests by carrying out the following before you vacate the property:

Strip all used beds of pillow cases, duvet covers, sheets and any stained mattress/pillow protectors and put the linen in the laundry bags provided.

Put all towels, bathmats, tea towels, oven gloves and table cloths (if used) into the laundry bags provided.

Remove any food from cupboards and fridges/freezer.

Ensure that all cutlery, crockery, glassware and utensils that you have used are thoroughly cleaned and put away or are stacked in the dishwasher and leave the dishwasher running.

Empty all rubbish bins (including those in bathrooms) into the waste collection bins at the front of the house.

As required by our standard terms and conditions, leave the property in the same state of order and cleanliness in which it was found.
Failure to carry out these requirements could lead to a potential health risk and disruption for our housekeeping team and therefore we will retain your Good Housekeeping Bond if not carried out.

We are taking our responsibilities to you seriously and we respectfully ask our guests to do the same to ensure the health and well being of all staff and visitors to Winster Hall.
